As part of our quality assurance protocol, the NLS participates in the European-wide proficiency
testing scheme, Quality Assurance for Marine Environmental Monitoring in Europe (QUASIMEME).

As a further guarantee of quality, we also analyse Certified Reference Materials for all marine samples, and can provide relevant data as part of our analytical reports.

All our laboratories operate a comprehensive quality management system accredited by UKAS to the current EN ISO 17025 standard. We also hold environmental certification to the current EN ISO 14001 standard.
