The NLS is working with Aquatic Water Services, a specialist scientific and environmental based company, to develop a rapid microbial impedance service to the UK Shellfish industry.

This service will take advantage of the scientifc capabilities of both organisations, addressing the need for rapid E.Coli results from the analysis of Shellfish Waters & Flesh.

Paul Stephens, Environmental Specialist Agilent Technologies and Paul Leinster, Chief Executive Environment Agency, on the annoucement of a major new collaboration between the NLS and Agilent Technologies.

At its formation this collaboration has seen the development of an environmental applications training programme for operators of Agilent's 6410 LC QQQ Mass spec systems.
